This creamy Parmesan chicken with penne is a quick and delicious meal perfect for weeknights. Rich, cheesy, and satisfying, it combines tender chicken with a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne pasta

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Cream

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Cheese

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Garlic

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning

Salt and Pepper

  • to taste salt and pepper

Garnish

  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet with olive oil for 6-7 minutes per side. Rest and slice.
  • Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until smooth.
  • Add sliced chicken and cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat and serve garnished with parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
