Indulge in the classic Italian dessert, Tiramisu! Layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone filling, dusted with cocoa powder, create a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar (or 150-200g depending on your preference)
  • 500 g mascarpone cheese
  • 350 g ladyfingers (depending on the size of the dish)
  • 1.5 cups brewed espresso or instant coffee
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions 

  • Separate egg whites and yolks.
  • Whisk yolks and sugar until light and frothy.
  • Add mascarpone to yolk mixture and whisk until combined.
  • Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold egg whites into yolk mixture.
  • Dip ladyfingers in coffee for 1-2 seconds.
  • Layer ladyfingers and filling in a dish.
  • Refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  • Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a splash of coffee liqueur to the coffee before dipping the ladyfingers.
