A hearty and creamy ground beef stroganoff that's easy to make and perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper salt and pepper
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional) parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Stir in mushrooms, cook until tender. Add flour and stir.
  • Pour in beef broth, add Worcestershire, paprika, salt, and pepper; simmer 10 minutes.
  • Cook egg noodles as per package; drain. Stir sour cream into beef mixture.
  • Serve beef stroganoff over noodles, garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat sour cream and fresh mushrooms.
