Ingredients

Hamburger Patties

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions 

  • Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Avoid overmixing.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions.
  • Shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Create a slight indent in the center.
  • Brush the patties lightly with olive oil (optional).
  • Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  • Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, don't overmix the ground beef. Overmixing can result in tough patties.
