Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat oil in oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Whisk honey, garlic, soy, vinegar, and ginger.
  • Flip salmon, pour glaze over, then transfer skillet to oven. Bake 5-7 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately with extra glaze.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for the last minute.
