Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced finely
  • 1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • Red chili flakes Red chili flakes
  • Cooked veggies like mushrooms or spinach Cooked veggies
  • chopped Fresh parsley or basil
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions 

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet until no pink remains, then set aside.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  • Add pasta, water, and beef broth; cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Return beef to skillet, add Parmesan, herbs, and heavy cream if desired; stir well.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning; serve hot topped with fresh herbs or extra Parmesan.

Notes

You can add more vegetables or spice it up with extra chili flakes for more flavor.
