A delicious baked pasta dish featuring jumbo shells filled with a cheesy herb mixture and topped with marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 pieces jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil shells until al dente, then drain.
  • Mix ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff shells with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish with sauce.
  • Top with remaining sauce and mozzarella, cover, and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 10 more minutes.

Notes

You can prepare the dish ahead and refrigerate before baking for added convenience.
