Enjoy a delicious and easy-to-make stacked steak fajita. This recipe combines tender skirt steak with flavorful bell peppers and onions, all served on warm tortillas.

Ingredients

Fajita Ingredients

  • 1 lb skirt steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 bell pepper (any color, sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet fajita seasoning
  • 6-8 small corn or flour tortillas

Optional Toppings

  • guacamole (Optional)
  • sour cream (Optional)
  • salsa (Optional)
  • shredded cheese (Optional)

Instructions 

  • Toss steak with 1/2 fajita seasoning.
  • Toss bell pepper and onion with olive oil and remaining seasoning.
  • Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook steak for 3-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Add peppers and onions to skillet; cook 5-7 minutes.
  • Warm tortillas.
  • Stack steak, peppers, and onions on tortillas. Add toppings.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
