A flavorful and spicy street food favorite, these roti rolls are packed with vegetables, paneer, and a zesty Schezwan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces large rotis (indian flatbreads)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, finely chopped)
  • 0.5 cup paneer (cottage cheese), grated
  • 2 tablespoons schezwan sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • to taste salt
  • for garnish fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • for serving lemon wedges

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Sauté ginger-garlic paste until fragrant, then add vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Mix in Schezwan and soy sauces, cook for a minute, then remove from heat and stir in grated paneer.
  • Warm rotis briefly, then fill with the vegetable and paneer mixture, roll tightly, and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Adjust salt and spice levels to taste. Serve immediately for best flavor.
