A comforting baked casserole combining tender noodles, seasoned ground beef, and creamy cheese sauce for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz wide egg noodles

Meat

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Dairy

  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Canned Goods

  • 10.5 oz can condensed mushroom soup

Spices & Seasonings

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch dish.
  • Cook noodles until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  • Brown beef and onion, then stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and mushroom soup; cook 3 minutes.
  • Mix noodles, beef mixture, sour cream, and half cheese; transfer to dish, top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a richer flavor, try adding a dash of paprika or chopped herbs.
