A flavorful and easy slow cooker dish combining tender chicken, fragrant herbs, and rice, perfect for a comforting meal.

Broth & Liquids

chicken broth

lemon (juiced and zested)

(add in last 30 minutes)

Instructions
Place chopped onion and minced garlic in slow cooker, add chicken on top.
Mix broth, lemon juice, zest, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper; pour over chicken.
Add rice around chicken, cover, and cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours.
If using, add peas in last 30 minutes, then fluff rice and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
