A classic holiday side dish, this slow cooker green bean casserole is easy to prepare and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Green Beans
4
cups
fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1
can (10.5 oz)
condensed cream of mushroom soup
1
cup
milk
1
cup
french fried onions
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
soy sauce
to taste
salt and pepper
Instructions
Combine green beans, soup, milk, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
Stir until well coated, then cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Stir in half of the fried onions 30 minutes before serving.
Top with remaining fried onions and cook for another 10-15 minutes until crispy.
Notes
For extra crunch, add more fried onions just before serving.
