A delicious and easy-to-make green bean casserole cooked in the crockpot, perfect for holiday gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Mix green beans, soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Transfer mixture to crockpot.
  • Top with cheddar cheese and half of fried onions.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  • Before serving, add remaining fried onions and cook briefly.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of soy sauce or hot sauce.
