This creamy Crock Pot Green Bean Casserole is a hassle-free holiday side that combines tender green beans with cheesy, crispy toppings for a crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Mix green beans, mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Stir in half of the cheddar cheese and fried onions.
  • Transfer to Crock Pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Before serving, top with remaining cheese and fried onions, then cook until melted.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
