A flavorful marinade that enhances the natural taste of salmon, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed fresh herbs (like dill or parsley) (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, lemon juice, and mustard.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Marinate salmon in mixture for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill or oven to medium-high.
  • Cook salmon 6-8 minutes per side until flaky.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Marinating for longer enhances flavor, but 30 minutes is sufficient.
