A festive and easy-to-make dessert featuring white chocolate and freeze-dried fruits in patriotic colors.
Ingredients
12
ounce
white chocolate chips or white chocolate melting wafers
1/2
cup
freeze-dried strawberries or cherries
(red)
1/2
cup
freeze-dried blueberries
(blue)
red and blue sprinkles
(optional, for decoration)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth and fully melted.
Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer using a spatula (about 1/4 inch thick).
Sprinkle the freeze-dried strawberries or cherries evenly over one-third of the bark for the red section.
Sprinkle the freeze-dried blueberries evenly over another third of the bark for the blue section.
Leave the middle section plain white or decorate it with optional red and blue sprinkles, if desired.
Gently press the toppings into the chocolate to ensure they adhere.
Let the bark cool and set completely at room temperature or place it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to harden.
Once fully set, break the bark into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
Notes
You can substitute freeze-dried fruits with other dried fruits or nuts for a different flavor profile.
