This flavorful Korean ground beef bowl is quick to prepare and perfect for a satisfying meal, mimicking takeout quality at home.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • sesame seeds for garnish sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Drain excess fat, then add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Stir well.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
  • Serve over cooked rice, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and ginger for best flavor.
