Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Vegetables

  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed

Fats & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Aromatics

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Seasonings

  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, cook 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken, set aside. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and garlic; sauté 30 seconds.
  • Add green beans, sauté 5-6 minutes until tender but crisp. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using.
  • Slice chicken and serve alongside green beans.

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or parsley.
