A delicious and healthy homemade snack bar packed with oats, nuts, dried fruits, and optional chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Wet ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Combine almond butter, honey, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Mix wet into dry ingredients until well combined.
  • Press mixture into the baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Cool, cut into bars, and store.

Notes

Press firmly to ensure bars hold together.
