A quick and delicious dessert combining sweet peaches with a buttery cake topping, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Canned Peaches

  • 2 cans sliced peaches in juice or syrup (do not drain)

Cake Mix

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (about 15 oz)

Butter

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Spices and Nuts

  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Serving

  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch dish.
  • Spread peaches in the dish, then sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over them.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, then sprinkle spices and nuts if using.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dessert is best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
