These festive Oreo balls are a delicious treat perfect for any patriotic celebration. Easy to make and fun to decorate!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup red candy melts
  • 1 cup blue candy melts
  • Sprinkles (red, white, and blue)

Instructions 

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  • Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until firm.
  • While the Oreo balls are chilling, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off, and then return them to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Melt the red and blue candy melts in separate bowls, also using the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted red and blue candy melts over the white chocolate-covered Oreo balls, creating a patriotic design.
  • Sprinkle red, white, and blue sprinkles on top while the candy melts are still wet.
  • Allow the Oreo balls to set at room temperature or place them back in the refrigerator until the coating hardens.

Notes

For a fun variation, try using different colored candy melts for other holidays.
