1lbsteak (sirloin or ribeye)(cut into bite-sized pieces)
2tablespoonsbutter(divided)
4clovesgarlic(minced)
0.5teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes(adjust to taste)
1cupheavy cream
0.5cupgrated parmesan cheese
8ozrotini pasta(or any short pasta)
2.5cupswater or broth(–3 cups)
Salt and black pepper(to taste)
Chopped parsley(for garnish (optional))
Instructions
Sear steak pieces in butter until browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in butter until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer.
Stir in parmesan until melted.
Add pasta and water/broth. Simmer until pasta is al dente.
Return steak to skillet and stir to coat.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and parmesan if desired.
Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spiciness. For a richer flavor, use bone broth instead of water.
