A comforting and creamy casserole combining tender chicken, rice, vegetables, and cheese, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 cup crushed crackers (optional for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional for topping)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix chicken, rice, soup, sour cream, cheese, vegetables, milk, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer to a greased 9x13 inch dish.
  • If using, top with crushed crackers mixed with melted butter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly. Cool slightly and serve.

Notes

You can add extra vegetables or cheese for more flavor.
