A hearty and cheesy lasagna casserole that's easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 10 oz rigatoni

Meat

  • 1 lb Italian sausage

Vegetables & Aromatics

  • 1 piece onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Seasonings

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt

Sauces & Dairy

  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 2 large eggs (whisked)
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
