A quick and flavorful Korean-inspired ramen recipe with spicy gochujang and fresh greens.

Ingredients

Noodles and Broth

  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles
  • 4 cups water

Sauce Mixture

  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Vegetables and Garnish

  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 optional boiled egg (sliced in half)

Garnish

  • to taste sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder to make the sauce.
  • Stir the sauce into cooked noodles, then add green onions and spinach; cook 1-2 minutes.
  • Top with sliced boiled egg and sesame seeds, then serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to add more vegetables or spice for extra flavor.
