Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces salmon fillets

Sauces & Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Grains

  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice

Vegetables

  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1 piece carrot, julienned

Garnishes

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions chopped green onions
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook salmon in a skillet over medium heat, pour honey mixture, and cook 4-5 minutes each side.
  • Prepare rice and steam broccoli.
  • Layer rice, broccoli, and carrots in bowls, top with salmon.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or lime.
