A flavorful and easy-to-make rice bowl featuring tender salmon glazed with honey garlic sauce, served with steamed broccoli and rice.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces salmon fillets

Grains

  • 1 cup jasmine rice

Sauces & Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Oils

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Vegetables

  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1 green onion chopped green onion
  • sesame seeds for garnish sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Cook rice according to package instructions.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to make the sauce.
  • Cook salmon in olive oil 4-5 minutes per side, then add sauce and cook until caramelized.
  • Fluff rice with sesame oil. Assemble bowls with rice, salmon, broccoli, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon briefly before cooking.
