Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1 carrot julienned carrot
  • 1 green onion sliced green onion
  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip salmon, pour honey garlic mixture over, and cook 3-4 minutes, basting.
  • Layer cooked rice, broccoli, and carrots in bowls, top with salmon.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, serve immediately.
