Enjoy a flavorful and healthy bowl featuring tender salmon glazed with honey garlic sauce, served over rice with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (skin on or off)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or rice vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening) (for thickening)
  • 3 cups cooked rice (white, jasmine, or brown)
  • optional toppings sliced cucumber, shredded carrots, avocado, green onions, sesame seeds, edamame (for garnish and toppings)

Instructions 

  • Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice to make the sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon lightly, then cook 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  • Pour sauce into skillet, simmer until thickened. Add cornstarch slurry if desired for extra thickness.
  • Divide rice into bowls, arrange vegetables around rice, then top with salmon and drizzle with sauce.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh salmon for best flavor. Adjust toppings to your preference.
