This quick and easy homemade hamburger helper combines ground beef, pasta, and cheese for a comforting dinner ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Meat and Pasta

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Stir in paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add macaroni, beef broth, and milk; bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Remove from heat, stir in cheddar cheese until melted, then serve hot.
