Ingredients
Dough
4cupsall-purpose flour
1packetactive dry yeast((2 1/4 tsp))
1cupwarm milk
1/3cupgranulated sugar
1/3cupunsalted butter, melted
1/2tspsalt
2largeeggs
Filling
3/4cupbrown sugar, packed
2tbspground cinnamon
1/4cupunsalted butter, softened
Icing
1cuppowdered sugar
2tbspmilk
Instructions
Combine warm milk, yeast, and a tablespoon of sugar; let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
Add melted butter, remaining sugar, eggs, salt, and gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough. Knead for 5-7 minutes.
Let dough rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour or until doubled.
Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut into 12 rolls.
Place rolls in a greased dish, let rise for 20 minutes, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the dough rise longer or add a touch of vanilla to the icing.
