  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 0.5 cup beef broth or water
  • fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish (optional))

Instructions 

  • Prepare potatoes: dice, rinse, and pat dry.
  • Cook potatoes in olive oil until golden brown; set aside.
  • Brown ground beef in the same pan; drain excess fat.
  • Cook onion and garlic, then mix with beef.
  • Add spices and tomato paste; cook until fragrant.
  • Add broth, potatoes, and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  • Adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes along with the other seasonings.
