Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef

Vegetables

  • 4 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Spices and liquids

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth (or water)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or butter)

Garnish

  • optional Fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet. Cook potatoes until golden, then set aside.
  • Add remaining oil and cook ground beef until browned. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
  • Stir in spices, then add cooked potatoes and beef broth. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning, garnish with herbs, and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra flavor and nutrition.
