This Garlic Butter Chicken Broccoli recipe is a quick and easy one-pan meal perfect for a weeknight dinner. Tender chicken and crisp-tender broccoli are coated in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 0.25 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped (optional))

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, add chicken, season, and sauté until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • Add water and broccoli to the skillet, cover, and steam until crisp-tender. Discard excess water.
  • Reduce heat, melt butter, stir in garlic, and cook until aromatic.
  • Add soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat. Cook to infuse flavors.
  • Gently fold in steamed broccoli until evenly mixed.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley (if using). Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with rice, pasta, or cauliflower rice for a complete meal.
