A creamy, cheesy tuna casserole that's quick to prepare and perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cans tuna, drained (5 oz cans)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed buttery crackers or French fried onions
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch dish.
  • Cook noodles 1 minute less than package; drain. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, milk, and seasonings until smooth.
  • Stir in tuna, peas, and lemon juice. Add noodles and toss to coat.
  • Transfer to dish, top with crushed crackers and melted butter. Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly.
  • Let cool 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or paprika before baking.
