A delicious and healthy vegetarian dish featuring pasta shells filled with spinach and ricotta, baked to perfection with melted cheese.
Ingredients

(cooked al dente)
Vegetables

fresh spinach, chopped
Cheese

ricotta cheese

shredded mozzarella cheese

grated parmesan cheese
Other ingredients

marinara sauce

garlic powder

salt and pepper

fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook shells until al dente, then drain.
Mix spinach, ricotta, half mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
Spread marinara in a baking dish, stuff shells with filling, and place in dish.
Top with remaining marinara and mozzarella, cover, and bake 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
Let cool slightly, garnish with basil if desired, and serve.
Notes
You can add extra basil or cheese for more flavor.
