Ingredients

Potatoes

  • 2 large potatoes ( peeled and boiled)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • water as needed water (for dough consistency)
  • olive oil or butter for cooking olive oil or butter

Instructions 

  • Peel, boil, and mash the potatoes until smooth.
  • Mix mashed potatoes with flour, egg, and salt to form a dough.
  • If sticky, add more flour. Roll out dough into thin noodles and cut into shapes.
  • Boil noodles in salted water for 3-5 minutes until they float.
  • Drain and sauté in olive oil or butter for a couple of minutes. Serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh potatoes for best flavor and texture.
