A simple and delicious dessert combining pineapple, cake mix, and butter for a quick treat.

Ingredients

Canned Goods

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, with juice

Baking Mix

  • 1 box white cake mix

Dairy & Fats

  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted

Sweeteners

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch dish.
  • Spread pineapple with juice in the dish. Sprinkle brown sugar over it.
  • Top with dry cake mix evenly. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  • Bake for 60 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

This dessert is best served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
