A quick and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)

Chicken breasts

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

Heavy cream

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Salt and pepper

  • to taste salt and pepper

Fresh parsley

  • for garnish chopped fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in a skillet with olive oil until done. Slice into strips.
  • Sauté garlic in the same skillet for 1 minute.
  • Add heavy cream and Parmesan, simmer until smooth.
  • Mix in pasta and chicken, toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
