A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken with a sweet and savory honey sesame sauce.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Garnish

  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions 

  • Mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  • Add chicken to marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
  • Toss chicken with cornstarch to coat evenly.
  • Cook chicken in oil until golden, 5-7 minutes.
  • Add marinade to skillet, cook 2-3 minutes until thickened. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
