This easy homemade apple cobbler features a deliciously sweet and cinnamon-spiced apple filling topped with a buttery batter, baked to golden perfection.

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss until the apples are well coated.
  • Pour the apple mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
  • Slowly pour the melted butter into the flour mixture and stir until combined.
  • Pour the batter over the apple mixture in the baking dish, making sure to cover the apples as evenly as possible.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
