A quick and nutritious pasta dish featuring fresh broccoli and whole wheat pasta, perfect for a healthy meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté garlic and red pepper flakes.
  • Add broccoli and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine pasta with broccoli, season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Serve warm, topped with Parmesan if desired.
