A quick and hearty dish combining ground turkey and potatoes, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3–4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions 

  • Cook ground turkey in a skillet until browned; season and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook diced potatoes in olive oil until browned and tender.
  • Return turkey to skillet, add tomato sauce, water, garlic, herbs, and seasonings; stir to combine.
  • Simmer covered for 5 minutes until potatoes are cooked through.
  • Adjust seasonings if needed and serve warm.

Notes

You can serve this dish over rice or vegetables for added variety.
