A quick and delicious homemade beef and broccoli stir-fry that rivals takeout, perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Sauces & Condiments

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Seasonings

  • to taste salt and pepper

For Serving

  • as needed cooked rice

Instructions 

  • Marinate beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook beef 3-4 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  • Sauté garlic and ginger, add broccoli and beef broth, cover and steam 2-3 minutes.
  • Return beef to skillet, cook 1-2 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Use fresh broccoli for best texture and flavor.
