This quick and flavorful beef and broccoli stir-fry is a perfect weeknight dinner that rivals takeout. Ready in under 30 minutes, it's a healthy and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Sauces & Condiments

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Other

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef slices, season with salt and pepper, cook 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove.
  • In the same pan, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger; sauté 30 seconds.
  • Add broccoli, stir-fry 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Return beef to pan, pour sauce, cook 2-3 minutes until thickened. Serve over rice.

Notes

Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and tender results.
