Easy Beef and Broccoli Recipe (Better than takeout!)

A quick and delicious stir-fry that combines tender beef with crisp broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Sauces & Condiments

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Other

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Marinate beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned (2-3 min), then set aside.
  • Add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry 30 seconds.
  • Add broccoli; stir-fry 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Return beef to skillet, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and beef broth; cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of sesame oil or sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
