This quick and flavorful beef and broccoli stir-fry is a perfect weeknight dinner that rivals takeout.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Sauces & Oils

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

For Serving

  • cooked rice for serving

Instructions 

  • Marinate beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  • Cook beef in hot oil until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli and stir-fry 2-3 minutes.
  • Return beef, add remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, and sesame oil. Cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and tender results.
