This easy crockpot recipe delivers tender, flavorful teriyaki chicken with minimal effort, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Sauce

  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger

Vegetables (optional)

  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli (optional)

For serving

Instructions 

  • Place chicken in crockpot.
  • Mix teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger; pour over chicken.
  • Add vegetables if using; cook on low 6-7 hours.
  • Shred chicken and stir to coat with sauce.
  • Serve over rice, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce overnight.
