Ingredients

packed light brown sugar

room-temperature, unsalted butter, cut into 1/2" cubes
Instructions
Add the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon (if using), and salt to a medium-sized bowl. Whisk to combine.
Scatter the butter across the top of the mixture. Rub the butter into the flour mixture using your fingertips until well-mixed and no longer dry.
Notes
Keep the mixture cold before using for best results.
