Ingredients

  • 20 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 10 wrappers wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions 

  • Marinate shrimp with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  • Place a shrimp in each wonton wrapper, fold to form a triangle, and seal edges.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry wrapped shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot, garnished if desired.
